Invited to a debate…
You know, the presidential kind of debate. Democrat or Republican are you? Perhaps you are for a third-party candidate. In any case, the 2008 elections are right around the corner and each candidate would certainly like to invite you to join their cause and cast a vote for them. It’s your right to do so and you should seriously consider taking the time to vote as there is a lot riding on it in the end…
Group event invites.
You know, it doesn’t have to just be personal invitations, it can be group invitations as well. A corporate party, a neighborhood function at the local community center, or perhaps a high school class reunion. Anything with a group of people getting together, both large and small, qualifies in any event. Chose a wonderful group event provider today and get started.
Facebook alternatives…
It’s about time there was a good and comprehensive list out there of great Facebook Alternatives.
Online invitations and invites sent for free?
Can it really be? Is it so? I don’t believe it! You’d better believe it… Creating, sending and managing groups and their online invites has never been so easy and hassle free. Were talking paperless invitations here folks. Great for the environment, and a huge savings on paper, envelopes and postage as well. How do you send it then? By email! Can you customize and personalize them? Of course you can! Can the people you send the invite to respond back via email as well? Sure can! This is called an RSVP and will let your host know in advance if you plan on attending and event or function or not well in advance and then be able to plan accordingly depending on what your response is. Pretty cool huh?
It’s an invitation to be invited to attend a group event!
If you received a personal invite yourself that is… It’s kind of tough when you’ve heard about a party or get together and then realize that’s it’s by invitations only. You could always politely ask a friend who’s going if you can be their guest or tag-along if it’s acceptable. Or you could just ask the host if there is any room at the event for you to be able to attend as well. Most of the time it just takes a little skillful finesse and refinement to your approach and then you’re in the party! Good luck!!!
Sending back the RSVP with a big old “NO!”
Lets face it, some event invitations just aren’t worth showing up for. It could be the distance to the event, or just that you really don’t like the person who’d sent you the invite in the first place, or perhaps the invitation is to an event such as sky diving and the sender is very aware that you are terrified of heights. So whatever it may be it’s completely appropriate for you to decline the invitation with a “No thank you” on the return RSVP.
